As a result of your help, we are able to do the following:
• Spearhead the financing of furniture and exhibits for the environmental educational pavilion and planned education center
• Partner with local and national environmental organizations on educational programs
• Provide formal training to new tour guides
• Conduct guided interpretative tours of the refuge
• Provide and replace interpretative signage and outdoor kiosk displays
• Conduct educational programs for adults and children on the refuge
• Organize and fund the annual Florida Panther Week events in March
• Support education and biology interns
• Eliminate exotic plants and animals
• Publish educational materials
• Make educational presentations to schools and community groups
• Conduct research projects and surveys
• Represent the national FWS refuge system and its budget needs on Capital Hill
• Advocate for Florida panther habitat protection at the state, county and local level
