1. Introduction
These Mobile Messaging Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the SMS messaging program (“SMS Program”) offered by Friends of the Florida Panther Refuge, Inc. (“we,” “us,” “our”). By opting into our SMS Program, you agree to these Terms.
The SMS Program provides updates, alerts, conservation news, membership information, and other communications related to our organization and mission. Messages are delivered through Constant Contact’s messaging platform.
2. Opt‑In Consent
By enrolling in the SMS Program, you provide express written consent to receive recurring text messages from us at the mobile number you provided. Consent is obtained through our sign‑up form or any other written mechanism where you explicitly agree to receive SMS messages.
Message frequency may vary. Typical frequency: 1–4 messages per month.
Your consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services or becoming a member.
3. Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. You are responsible for any charges imposed by your mobile carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
4. Opt‑Out Instructions
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. After sending STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message, and then no further SMS messages will be sent.

6. Mobile Information Use & Privacy
We use your mobile number solely to deliver SMS messages you have opted into. We do not sell, share, or transfer your mobile information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We may share your mobile number with service providers (such as Constant Contact) strictly for the purpose of delivering SMS messages. These providers are prohibited from using your information for their own marketing.
